Johns quitte le poste de Chief Creator de DC que Jim Lee reprend (en plus de sa fonction de copublisher avec Didio).
Johns revient à un poste plus creatif avec un contrat de producteur/cretaeur exclusif avec DC. Il lance Mad Ghost Productions qui va produire films, animés séries TV et comics.
Il faisait toujours des comics et bossait déjà dans les films, series mais là il produira aussi.

Il va travailler au travers de son studio:
1-en Film: proiduction et scenar sur Aquaman, Wonder Woman 2 et Green Lantern Corps
2-TV: Productions et ecrtiture sur Titans et Doom Patrol
3-comics: Doomsday Clock, Shazam en 2018, 3 Jokers avec Fabok, Batman Earth One T3 avec Frank mais aussi un nouveau label The Killing Zone qui s'occupera de nouveaux personnages ou de vieux personnages oubliés.

DC lance des anthologies de 100 pages (sorte de mag VF ex batman avec Nightwing ou Harley Quinn) reimprimant des histoires comme Hush mais aussi avec des nouvelles histoires dont du Batman par Bendis et du Superman par King...
Ce sera dispo en Wallmart mais pas en comics shops.. qui ne sont pas content.

King avait prévu un run s arretant au 105. Il a rencontré Warner pour valider son projet sur les 85-105 qui devait changer le statu quo de Batman.

“It’s something that’s going to change the character for a generation, or maybe more. Maybe forever,” King told The Hollywood Reporter. “I never thought we’d get this kind of stuff approved;when you’re working with a corporate character, you think you’re going to have to reset. But this is a change that’s going to shake the world of Batman and it’s going to leave my mark on the character.”
At the time, King said that the "City of Bane"arc would run from Batman #75 to #82, with "a kind of aftermath story"from #83 to #87, with King's coda to the arc (and his run) lasting "15 issues or so."

DC semble lancer une collection comparable aux Epic (softcover, assez gros) avec un prix de départ à 34,99$. Cela commence en novembre. Il semble par contre que ce ne soit pas complet (le volume sur Flash me semble trop petit pour 6 années entières mais je peux me tromper.
