“In the same way that events jumped forward in time eight months in AVENGERS and NEW AVENGERS during the lead-up to Secret Wars, so too when we enter the new Marvel Universe eight months will have passed for all of the characters as well,” explains Marvel Senior VP-Executive Editor and SECRET WARS editor Tom Brevoort. “This provides our creators, even apart from Secret Wars, to drop into exciting new situations and status quos on the fly. So look for surprises and mysteries and changes galore as series resume in the NEW MU.”

While only slices of Battleworld have been revealed thus far—and will continue to be unveiled this week in titles like A-FORCE, MASTER OF KUNG FU, PLANET HULK, SPIDER-VERSE, and ULTIMATE END—elements seen will prove key not only to Secret Wars, but the to the burgeoning Marvel Universe to come. Already we can confirm that the despotic future Hulk known as Maestro from FUTURE IMPERFECT, the stalwart heroes of A-Force, the exotic locales from WEIRDWORLD, and Shiklah’s new team to be seen in MRS. DEADPOOL &THE HOWLING COMMANDOS will play major roles in the future. Additionally, a mysterious team of survivors from dead universes and even Battleworld itself promise to stick around past the tumult and excitement to come.

And these elements provide only a small sampling of the impact Secret Wars will have in bringing new pieces to a new Marvel Universe.

LOS ANGELES — Marvel Comics is planning a massive, publishing line-wide reboot this fall that will see all of its comic books revert back to No. 1s, introduce all-new superheroes and significantly alter others, including a new Spider-Man, a new Hulk and new team-ups never before imagined at the House of Ideas.

Dubbed "All-New, All-Different Marvel,"the reset takes place after "Secret Wars,"the ongoing summer event that will conclude an ambitious arc loosely going back to 2012 with the introduction of the highly popular "Avengers vs. X-Men"series.

"We've been planning it for years,"Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso told Mashable. "We realized that ['Secret Wars'] would be a game-changing moment that would allow us to create a big white canvas. It’s an unprecedented chance for us to tell new stories across all titles with new No. 1s."

Though the initiative is sweeping and comprehensive — with all-new creative teams behind both new and existing titles — it won't do anything to erase or rewrite history that previous comics have established. However, "All-New, All-Different"will pick up some eight months after the conclusion of "Secret Wars,"and much will have happened in that time to alter the landscape.

Alonso said it's a perfect jumping-on point for new readers, but true believers will certainly recognize the Marvel world they've come to know over the years.

"There’s no red sky, there’s no icecaps,"he said "But there will be new places on the map, there will be new characters that were just too cool to not bring back from 'Secret Wars.' There are new teams that are necessary to deal with new threats."

The new books — about 55 to 60 in all, slightly less than Marvel publishes right now — will each introduce new storylines. In some cases, a new character will be wearing familiar costumes, or will have moved, or will have significant shifts in their relationships to other characters. Many of those changes will be shockingly big.

"We chose all of our creators to come in with a hook — a big thing has happened that changes the status quo of the character,"Alonso said. Those kinds of changes will be very much along the lines of the female Thor (who turned out to be Jane Foster) and black Captain America (Sam Wilson, the erstwhile Falcon).

Though he wouldn't say for sure, Alonso hinted that those two characters would remain in their current form. "These changes were not short-term,"he said. "We’re deeply invested in those characters."

The massive Secret Wars and its tie-in series gave Marvel an opportunity to import aspects into the new Marvel Universe that had previously been the periphery, according to Alonso. Forgotten characters like Red Wolf (who appears in the upcoming Western-tinged Secret Wars: 1872 comic) could be revisited in a cool way, plus artifacts of great power and importance as well as uncharted areas and regions could add to a transformed landscape.

J'ai hâte d'y être pour voir quelles seront ces nouvelles séries et quelles seront les équipes créatives.
En tout cas, ça semble, comme le New52, un point d'entrée idéal pour de nouveaux lecteurs. Je reprendrai peut-être plus régulièrement du Marvel, du coup.

Entre Marvel et DC on atteint facilement les 100 titres par mois, ce qui est énorme je trouve. On doit être loin des années 1990, mais quand même...

Ca n'empêche pas que je suis excité comme une puce à l'idée de savoir ce que contiendra ce relaunch général. (cette fois-ci, promis, j'attendrai les TPB :mrgreen: )

Je reste curieux de voir le résultat de ce melting pot de toutes les histoires Marvel.
Par contre leur dernier teaser donne un peu trop d'importance aux araignées... Ils sont 4 quand même ! ça risque de devenir l'overdose, alors qu'il n'y a aucun mutant présent.

A mon avis on en saura plus rapidement (c'est ce week-end la NYCC ?)

Here's a rundown of what we know so far about what's coming up for the House of Ideas.

"All-New, All-Different Marvel"will feature around 60 new #1s, all designed to be jumping-on points for new readers.
These new #1s will take place eight months after the end of "Secret Wars"and feature very different status quos for the characters: "[W]hen we pick up after the event with #1s, the goal is that some time will have past and all your favorite characters will be in a new place,"teased Alonso.
Alonso also made it clear that this is not a hard reboot of the Marvel Universe, telling the NY Post that they are not “throwing away decades of history... There may be some new characters. There may be some changes to the relationships. But it’s the Marvel Universe. It’s just the next chapter."In the NY Daily News interview, he bluntly states, "This is not a reboot."
There will be an all-new Hulk: "I’ll go ahead and tell you the Marvel Universe is about to see the arrival of an All-New Hulk -- not a Hulk that you’ve seen before,"Alonso told EW. "And this development is deeply rooted in story. I am personally excited about it and its ramifications and it’s a fascinating story that I think Bruce Banner fans will definitely want to read."
A new Spider-Man and Wolverine will also emerge: "You’ll also see the arrival of a new Spider-Man in the Marvel Universe and you’ll also see -- spoiler alert -- a Wolverine emerge on the scene,"said Alonso. "I’m not going to say who, but a Wolverine that is certain to provoke reactions."
The new Wolverine won't necessarily be Logan, and Fast Company's interview states that Alonso wouldn't comment further on the X-Men's status in the new MU. In the NY Daily News interview, however, Alonso "bristles"at the idea that Marvel is downplaying the X-Men because their movie rights belong with Fox. "I need to sell a lot of X-Men comics to keep my job, trust me!,"said Alonso in the NY Daily News piece. "We have very big plans for Wolverine."
Additionally, Iron Man will sport a new suit of armor.
The line makeover will see the high profile return of Red Wolf, a Native American Marvel character from the '70s who will play a part in the upcoming "Secret Wars"series "1872."
New additions won't be limited to just characters, as Alonso told NY Post: “Look for an influx of really fun, new stuff in the Marvel Universe. It could be an artifact of great power. It could be a region.”
Both Sam Wilson's Captain America and Jane Foster's Thor are sticking around.
Ms. Marvel will remain a vital part of the Marvel U: “She [Kamala Khan] is Peter Parker for the 21st century,” Alonso told EW. “Peter Parker can be a 16-year-old Pakistani girl from Jersey City. If her story is universal, then people are going to come and read it. If it feels true, if it resonates, people are going to come.”
The NY Post notes that characters will also switch teams, using the Avengers and X-Men as an example.
Creators involved include Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Mark Waid, Dan Slott, Charles Soule, G. Willow Wilson and Jeff Lemire
The Marvel Universe will be shifting towards a season model reminiscent of TV: "I think that the comics industry -- certainly, we are -- slowly working into a season model that’s not too unlike what we see in our favorite cable TV shows: a seasonal model that offers accessible entry points for new readers and is respectful of long-term fans,"explained Alonso. "We did Marvel NOW! and All-New Marvel NOW!, which were both two very successful campaigns. And this is the latest campaign."
The Fast Company interview states that an undisclosed number of Ultimate Universe characters will be a part of the new Marvel Universe;Miles Morales' inclusion in the teaser art alludes to this, but Alonso states that he'd rather "leave to speculation"whether or not the Ultimate Spidey joins the MU.
Alonso also commented on the publisher's relationship with the movies in the NY Daily News interview: "We are under no pressure to fall in line [with the films]. All those movies started on the comic page, and with the freedoms creators had to bend the universe -- and occasionally break it."

While still featuring familiar characters, surrounded again by Iron Man (an indication the glue to their cinematic universe is being put front and center in their comic book Universe) there are a few more new wrinkles in this new image. Notably:

The female Dr. Spectrum from theGreat Society, a Justice League homage that squared off with the Illuminati during an New Avengers incursion event.
Citizen V of the Thunderbolts – a former alter ego for Marvel mainstay villain Baron Zemo, rumored to be appearing in Captain America: Civil War played by Daniel Bruhl.
Ben Grimm in a Guardians of the Galaxy uniform. Yet another Fantastic Four character joining a different team, with Johnny Storm set to appear in Uncanny Inhumans.
Hyperion in his Avengers get-up – different from the red outfit he wears in the Secret Wars series Squadron Sinister.
Marvel has confirmed that the hooded figure is Karnak of the Inhumans, but gave no further details about this version of the character.
Inferno, a new addition to the Inhumans who is getting a big push as part of several Inhumans titles.
Daredevil, sporting a new black costume reminiscent of the two looks he wore in Netflix’s Daredevil series, with a cowl that covers his nose and wrapped gloves.
A new female Wolverine. Marvel would not confirm that this is X-23, but given the character’s long hair, and the configuration of her two claws, it seems like a solid chance.
Old Man Logan from the Secret Wars tie-in of the same name.
A somewhat younger looking Dr. Strange carrying an axe. While that’s definitely not Jarnbjorn, the axe of the Odinson, it does bear a passing resemblance to the Executioner’s axe.
Also present are Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, and Medusa, looking fairly like what we’d expect them to look.
And finally, front and center is Iron Man, who Marvel confirmed to Newsarama is central in both this and the previous teaser because his title will be the flagship of the line.

Je reste quand même de plus en plus dubitatif sur ce futur marvelien… Le FCBD All New All Different Avengers ne m'avais déjà pas emballé. Sympa mais sans plus. À voir aux premiers arcs, mais pour l'instant, il ne réussissent pas à me donner de folles envies de lectures :?

On pourra pas leur reprocher par contre de pas tenter (encore faut il que ce soit bien fait) ou de rester dans la lignée des films (Thor, Wolverine, Cap, Iron Man, Spidey ne seront peut etre pas les visages connus du plus grand nombre), les FF seront éparpillés entre GoG, Inhumans et on ne sait pas, Dr Strange ne semble pas se calquer sur sa version "classique"et si les héros des prochains films sont souvent là et que DD se rapprohce du look netflix, Red Wlof, Ms Marvel, Spidergwen, Weirdworld, Old Man Logan, Citizen V, Hyperion, Dr Spectrum n ont rien à voir.

J insiste mais c est bien de se souvenir que ce qui a changé c est que els films/DA/Anime/Series TV sont omniprésents et donc leurs effets décuplés mais que:
1- les adaptations ont toujours eu un effet comme le show radio superman qui introduit el daily planet, White, Olsen, la kryptonite..., le DA batman des 90's qui introduit Harely, Montana, le statu quo Mr Freeze... mais aussi X23, Firestar ...
2-L effet films se résume souvent à mettre en avant les persos que connaissent le plus grand nombre. Ce qui existe sans adaptation (remeber quand Wolverine et Batman apparaissaient sur al moitié des couvertures chaque mois..)
3-Pour l instant le comics influence plus le ciné que l inverse (Winter Soldier? Day of futire past? Civil War? Les films sont souvent un agglomérat des histoires les plus connues venues des comics... sans payer un centime à ceux qui les ont ecrit)

bon aprés je dis ca, on connait aucun pitch, on a aucun createur c est pas 2 images qui vont nous dire que c est bien.

C'est tout de même à double tranchant. Car oui ça peut aussi bien apporter des nouveautés, comme brider les futurs pitchs, si ils doivent forcément se calquer sur les films passés et futurs ce qu'ils font d'ailleurs depuis quelques temps). Rien que pour les X-men et les FF, ça changent radicalement. Pour eux d'ailleurs ça ressemblent d'ailleurs plus à une dispute d'enfants, vu de l'extérieur aha. Mais ça reste dommage je trouve.

Ce que je trouve surtout dommage, c'est qu'ils ne jouent que (ou presque) sur des perso qui ont, ou vont avoir, film ou série. Pas de projets vraiment nouveaux/ambitieux, ou de créations originales. Certaines choses intriguent (X-23/Wolverine par exemple). Mais dans l'ensemble je ne suis vraiment pas convaincu par ce mélange d'univers dans un seul et même. L'univers Old man Logan était très bien, et pour moi, il n'y a aucun sens, si ce n'est marketing, à mettre CE Logan au côté d'une new Miss Marvel (qui d'ailleurs est une série très sympathique), ou d'un Spidey actuel. Il a du sens dans son monde/univers. Sur un cross over à la rigueur, et encore…

À voir ensuite lorsque toutes les séries seront annoncées avec leurs équipes créatives.

Mais oui, les adaptations et transfuges d'un média à l'autre ont toujours été, et ne sont pas toujours mauvais, peut importe qui s'ajoute de l'autre.
