Il m'a fallu énormément de courage pour résister à dépenser 200€ pour le EC stories de Wally Wood, que j'ai longuement (et délicatement) feuilleté avant de me faire une raison.
Je pense qu'il m'en faudra au moins autant pour les New Gods de Kirby.

Bon ben, j'ai trouver dans quoi investir mon argent dans les prochaines années. Avec un peu de chance ça me rapportera plus que l'immobilier

Les beaux livres Artist's Edition IDW.

Ces ouvrages ont depuis quelques années gagné le coeur de certains collectionneurs et amoureux de beaux livres au point que certains de ces Books sont devenus rares et donc très chers.

Leurs formats sont à la taille d'origine des planche US, pour la plupart (un format A3 à peu près). Mais certains peuvent être bien plus grand !
Chaque page de ces livres est un scanne de la planche et non une photocopie. On peur y voir les repentis de l'artiste et les petites annotations sur certaines pages.
Quelques une sont jaunis, d'autres avec des touches de gouache, d'encre : c'est beau.

Il doit y avoir une trentaine d'ouvrage de ce type sorties à ce jour et pour différents artistes. Certains d'entre eux ont eut la chance d'avoir 2 livres édités - je pense à Byrne ou Mignola - et toujours avec le même soin et la même qualité.

Ce sont des livres intégralement en Anglais, forcément. La couverture est épaisse, les pages sont grandes et il y quelques explications sur les différentes histoires publiées.
Chaque livre fait à peu près 2Kg. Ça fait son poids mais il est soigneusement rangé dans un carton pour bien le protéger.

Il y a beaucoup de choix et beaucoup de prix différents. Il faut compter plus d'une centaines d'euros pour en posséder un. Il y a un tas de site US qui en propose avec des frais de port qui, malheureusement, fait gonfler toute de suite la note !

Le plus beau, pour moi, le Daredevil Born Again de Mazzucchelli. Le petit plus de ce livre c'est que en bas à droite de la couverture il y a un morceaux de papier en Braille (il me semble qu'il est écrit soit Daredevil ou Born Again, mais c'est à confirmer). Si vous le voulez il faut débourser au minimum 400€... sans les fdp.

Ensuite le Spiderman de Romita SR est très beau, les deux Byrne sont top, Mignola - je ne peux pas être objectif - le New Gods de Kirby = no comment !

Oui c'est pourquoi le second Byrne a mit du temps à sortir.
Mais comme je te l'ai dis je ne sais plus où;j'ai vu le Born Again partir pour 200 balles sur Ebay le mois dernier. Donc, avec un peu de chance...
