C'est fou comme Saga a du succès... Je vais devoir y jeter un oeil plus attentif...
Et Blacksad, c'est fou ce succès mondial... Miaou.
Par contre, y'a un truc que je ne comprends pas, il y a prix du Lettrage... Et le lettreur est toujours cité dans les crédits d'un comics. Mais à quoi il sert? Je ne m'étais jamais vraiment posé la question avant... En pleine ère numérique, je ne vois pas quel est sa fonction...

Pour Hawkeye, c'est vrai que la couv' est super, mais de là à rafler autant de prix et de nominations... :?
Et puis je suis content que Revival soit nominé dans autant de catégories. Il s'en vendra plus s'il y a un macaron Harvey. Et ça sera mérité...
Locke &Key est encore nominé. Alors que la série a déjà gagné plusieurs prix, et pas des moindres... Par contre, point de Tony Chu...
Et si quelqu'un pouvait répondre à ma question sur les lettreurs... Je lui en serai super gré...

Les lettreurs ont beau travailler en numérique, ils créent quand même leur police de caractères, leur typo, participent à la conception des onomatopées. Quelqu'un comme Chris Eliopoulos (sur "Hawkeye") communique beaucoup avec Fraction et Aja afin que les planches soient au plus prés de ce que les auteurs souhaitent.
Les très bons lettreurs sont quasiment des designers. Ils sont en bout de chaîne, mais leur apport peut être essentiel quand les dessinateurs collaborent précisément avec eux (des gens comme Samnee, Marcos Martin).

je viens justement de passer a la librairie pour acheter Hawkeye (que vous m avez conseillé) avant de partir en vacances. Je demande le prix qui n est pas dessus. 12 euros. j arrive a la caisse il me manquais 20 centimes

Oui, c'est ce que j'ai cru comprendre en glanant un peu plus d'infos et d'avis à travers la toile... Et le Tome #1 est désormais sur ma liste...

Et le vote d'Ace pour Born Again, me fait penser que c'est tout de même foufou de décerner un prix à une simple réédition. Même si c'est joli, dans un coffret, avec bonus et tout le toutim, ça reste du matériel archi connu... Alors bon...

L'Artist Edition de DD : BORN AGAIN est plus qu'une réédition : en fait, ce sont les reproductions des planches originales, dans leur format initial (ce qui donne un bouquin aux dimensions affolantes : 12 x 17 inches - 1 inch = 2,54 cm !), et non colorisées (juste les trames et éventuellement les à-plats de lavis).

C'est aussi ce qui explique le prix exhorbitant de ces livres (125 $, 100 E) car IDW doit demander aux auteurs qui ont conservé les originaux et aux collectionneurs qui possèdent des planches originales de les leur prêter pour les scanner en HD. Une blinde à fabriquer, donc très cher à la vente.
En prime, il y a des bonus parfois, ce qui donne à l'ensemble une valeur documentaire.
(Je précise que je ne possède pas ce livre, mais j'en ai vu des extraits, et bon, si on est fan, et très friqué, ça doit faire un beau trophée dans une bibliothèque.)
